Finally, a media piece that I can completely agree with. If you are hesitating to invest the 9 minutes of your life that it takes to watch this clip, then at least read this:

Do you sometimes fall prey to the illusion that the presidential candidates can deliver on all their wonderful promises? Do you think that some of Obama and McCain’s disciples can sound a little “screwy”? Are you tired of the government constantly trying to bring some mandated “order” to your life? So is ABC journalist John Stossel. Some ABC affiliates refused to carry this 20/20 special report (I wonder why?), but you can see it all here at Sleepy G’s!

I just finished watching the new documentary by Washington Media Associates in association with the National Security Archive that will soon air on PBS.

It is called Torturing Democracy, and it deals with the subject of the Bush Administration’s interrogation methods in the ongoing War on Terror.

Never before have I actually wept during a documentary, and never before have I been so ashamed of my own government. No matter how you feel about 9/11, the War on Terror, or George W. Bush, you should watch this film and see to what depths we have fallen.
